Juniper (Prostrata) work Part 1

Today the work we did in the studio was basic thinning to prepare for wiring. This tree has two fronts and will be fun to figure which one looks best. I mainly cleaned anything hanging down and removed extra needles from the crotch growth areas (That just sound funny to say) and any dead small branches that had died from being shaded out. The pictures are before and after. The next blog with this tree will be wiring branches into shape, future blogs will be deadwood work and then re-potting next February or March.

Thanks for following
